First Day August 1, 2010
I really enjoyed my first day as Pastor at Hamilton Glades although I have to admit I was scared to death. It was a little different since the day also happened to be the Homecoming Dinner. Brother Ron Parker preached a wonderful message from Acts 26:28 from the perspectives of Herrod Aggrippa, Bernice, and the Apostle Paul. I had the pleasure of meeting several new people and also visited with a friend from my High School days, Dave Evans. I had not seen Dave since the early eighties and was blessed by our conversation. It is great to see an old friend and discover that they have come to know Christ as Savior and Lord. He had a beautiful family. The food was great and everyone made Bonnie and I feel welcome. They even had a large sign hung in the sanctuary and a cake made to welcome us. I am confident that God has put us in a wonderful church and pray that I can be his faithful servant.

Too much to study, the churches in Revelation chapters two and three, Ezekiel, John, The Holy Spirit, Exodus, Love. There is just so much currently going through my mind that I wonder if I can keep it straight. I am typically focused on one or two subjects, but for some reason I have all of these questions that I am seeking answers for. I know that God will provide answers in his time through his Holy Spirit, but my flesh wants them now.
