Casting Crowns is a Grammy Award and Dove Award winning Christian band that employs a soft rock music style. The band was created in 1999 by youth pastor Mark Hall at First Baptist Church in Downtown Daytona Beach, Florida as part of a youth group. He also serves as a lead vocalist. Later they moved to McDonough, Georgia and more members joined creating the band now known as Casting Crowns. Some members of the band currently work as ministers for Eagles Landing First Baptist Church in McDonough, Georgia.
The Primitive Quartet travels approximately fifty thousand miles a year and does about one hundred fifty dates annually. Their music is the traditional mountain shape note style singing accompanied by acoustical instruments including the mandolin, banjo, fiddle, guitars and acoustic bass. They play their own music on all our recordings and strive to duplicate the same sound on all their personal appearances.
Todd Agnew (Born March 15, 1971 in Dallas, Texas) is a Christian musician and songwriter who has recently appeared in the Contemporary Christian market. His songs primarily consist of a Rock/Indie blend that separates him from most mainstream Contemporary Christian singers. His best-known song to date is a version of “Amazing Grace” called “Grace Like Rain” that was featured on his first album, Grace Like Rain, released in June 2003.
Jeremy Camp is a contemporary Christian musician from Lafayette, Indiana. As of April 2009, Camp has released six albums, three of them RIAA-certified as Gold, and 17 number-one hit songs. His original music is a mixture of ballads and rock.
Camp is also an ordained minister.
Third Day is a CCM and Christian rock band formed in Marietta, Georgia during the 1990s. The band was founded by lead singer Mac Powell and guitarist Mark Lee. The other band members are bassist Tai Anderson and drummer David Carr. The band’s name is a reference to the biblical account of Jesus rising from the dead on the third day following his Crucifixion.
